As suspected, the Cadillac converges is stuck in a conundrum. Yesterday the story of a General Motors confirms insider converge in output was accompanied by an official declaration of GM. Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell told Inside Line, "There is no change in status of converges. This is a concept - a proposal - and is under review and the review has not ended."
There are no surprises. The story yesterday was an insider on, not an official statement. But another insider to spill more beans. This suggests that an IL converges to the destination is in the hands of the presidential task force vehicle that GM is helping to establish the viability plan. Therefore, it is likely that Cadillac has to prove that it is necessary to spend money on converges to earn money - not an easy task for a bureaucracy to understand.
