Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) revealed today the FPV sports F6X hot, the most powerful six-cylinder SUV in the Australian market. It is fueled by high-performance F6 270 Turbo 4.0 liters DOHC in-line six-cylinder that produces 362 horses. The F6X will go on sale starting on February 29, 2008, at a price of $ 75,990.
The engine meets the renowned ZF six-speed automatic transmission and a full-time all-wheel drive system. Through a unique spring and damper calibration, FPV engineers have re-tune the travel and handling to get a firmer sports feel, which further enhances the primary ride control of the vehicle.
