Chevrolet United Kingdom launched the limited edition 'Edge' version of the popular Captiva SUV, with more than 2,400 pounds worth of extras for free. The seven-seat "edge" model is based on the 2.0 VCDi LT model and is available to Chevrolet retailers, priced at £ 19.995 - a savings of 1145 pounds with the standard VCDi Captiva 2.0 LT with seven seats. The Edge version is only available until March 17, 2008.
As well as the previously imposing list of standard tackle built-in in the Captiva LT, which comprise air conditioning, front fog lamps, radio CD with MP3 capability, electronic stability control, power-operated door mirrors, electric front and rear windows, descent control and a pure, two-piece rear glass lid, the "edge" edition adds striking Irmscher 20-inch Evo Star alloy wheels and distinctive chrome side bars.
